It all started with a unique idea and a love for honey in 2023.
I wanted to try my hand in beekeeping, which led me to take a leap of faith after sitting on this idea for a year. I enrolled and participated in the once a year, Indiana Beekeeping School hosted in Muncie, IN.
From this single event I was inspired, excited, and became part of a welcoming community. In my excitement, I joined a local beekeeping club that same month. During my first club visit, I was surprisingly offered two beehives and equipment.
In less than four months after attending the club, I had a total of four hives, caught my first bee swarm, collected honey, and by the end of the year I had a total of eight hives going into the winter.
It was official, I became a beekeeper. 🐝🐝🐝🐝🍯
